Chesterbrook
has a very broad and comprehensive program geared to both young and
adult players. A qualified
professional coach and assistant will guide the Club tennis activities
and inject creativity into the program.
To
play, tennis enthusiasts simply sign up for use of a court at the
gazebo. Court keys for new
tennis players can be obtained from a Tennis Director.
The calendar of events includes women’s teams (day and
evening), men’s teams (A and B), mixed doubles, junior teams, Sunday
morning ‘open tennis’, clinics, tennis camps and private lessons.
Chesterbrook
is a member of the Northern Virginia Tennis League (NVTL) and there is a
series of inter-club matches during the spring and early summer.
There are also intra-club tournaments, tennis parties, and social
events.
