The Chesterbrook Diving Team competes in the Northern Virginia Swimming League Diving program. The team has been competing during the past several years at the top Division I and II levels. The team typically consists of 20 to 30 divers ranging in age from elementary school age through high school.
The Club offers diving training by a head coach and one or more assistant coaches. Training commences shortly after the club opens in late May.
Diving meets are usually held on Tuesday evenings, and begin in mid-June and run through late July for the Divisional meet. There are several other competitions on Sunday mornings, including the three-meter diving meet in mid July, the Crackerjack meet in mid-July, the Divisional meet and the All-Star meet (late July/early August). The Potomac Valley All-Stars meet is also in early August.
During the diving season, the Club has several socials for our diving team. At the end of the season, we hold an awards banquet. Parent participation is desired at meets and socials.
